SPOT PCI Express Interface Technical Information
What is PCI Express?
PCI Express slots are a higher speed connection to peripherals that is replacing current AGP and PCI based systems.
PCI Express slots are typically located on your computer's main system board (motherboard) or on a riser attached to it. The slots may be of several different sizes depending on the speed of the slot.

The SPOT PCIe card uses a 1x slot that can be installed in any sized PCI express expansion slot.
What Cameras Support PCI Express?
The SPOT PCIe interface card supports the following camera systems. Older SPOT PCI based digital camera systems are not supported. If you are interested in a solution for your older cameras using PCI Express, let us know.

How do I get PCI Express?
It is presently available as an option that can be used with existing digital camera systems. If you are ordering a new camera system that is on the above list, you can order your system with a PCIe card. Contact your Diag direct representative or authorized dealership for more information.

Installation Instructions
The SPOT PCI Express card installs similar to most other PCI, AGP or PCIe interface cards available currently. The SPOT interface card does not require a separate power source and therefore only requires installation and seucirng into an open PCI express slot.
